Some of the people that have heard that I have gotten the ICLs implanted at minus 3 both eyes have been amazed, but the reason being I wore contact lenses for over 16 years and suffered from severe, severe dry eye. So, LASIK was not a very good option for me even though it could have been an option had I chosen it to be and dealt with, you know, the severe dry eyes even at a more intense level, but for me it was not a good option for me and then when I found out about the Visian ICL I was just very, very happy that I had an alternative to, you know, refractive surgery and for me several options or several factors came in to play from why I chose it. One was my severe dry eyes, so LASIK was not very good option for me. Two, the thought of adding something into my eye as of was much more appealing than taking, you know, tissue out and never being able to replace that. Three, there was glare and halos and fourth, it is removable and hopefully I do not have to worry about that until old and gray with cataracts. But if something should happen in between, I know and I am confident by the fact that it can be removed. So those options were huge when choosing the Visian ICL and to tell you the truth I could not be any happier.
