Oh, changed every thing. I was able to get up in the middle of night and not have to blink several times to get, you know, that dryness out from the contacts and I could get up and just walk across the room into the restroom or go down the hall and get up in the morning and not have to worry about where my glasses were if I did not have my contacts in. Economically it changed because I was no longer having to pay for solutions, contact lenses every three months, so that was huge because I was on a very fixed income for a while. I just have always had that one thing that was not perfect in my life and that was my eyesight. I was always tall, was athletic, but vision I just could not see and I could not even tell you that there is an “E” on the wall when I had an eye examination, could not tell you it was there. I was minus 6 and I am minus 5-1/2. So it was not that I was completely legally blind but pretty close, and so now to be able to see without anything other than my eyes has been tremendous. The Visian changed my life because it made me free from vision restraints, I could do anything. One of the things I have always wanted to do was learn how to scuba dive and so now I am saving that for scuba diving lessons because I could never go swimming without having to worry about my contacts falling out. So I was never a swimmer. Surfing in southern California is way of life. Never did it because I was too worried about being able to see because I could not see and now if I had the time I would love to try it, so it has allowed me to do things more on an athletic basis and it changed my batting average tremendously because now I could see the ball a lot better. It gave me an opportunity to do things I never had the courage to do with just wearing contacts.
